Lets start simple

Updated: Jan 28, 2019

Africans aren't only Dashiki wearers. Just saying.

Who would say this is ugly? I don't mean the outfit...

Welcome to the first of many posts! I am glad to share this look with you because its very basic and very beautiful.

#Ankara is material used in the front and I have #Lace at the back. This top is a mixture of #classy and #simple. The beauty of the ankara is that there are different colors delicately arranged on the top. Just gonna let you know that it’s #custommade 😉.

As someone with #darkskin, bright colors make my skin pop. Wearing this top with black jeans (I love and live in #thelimited black jeans) is simple style. I had this made knowing I would want to wear it anywhere, from a business casual meeting to small hangouts with friends. You can wear this anywhere and be #stylish .

Is it really true that black jeans make you look skinnier? Yes? No? Just me? Let me know.

Who doesn't look good in #red #coach shoes? The great thing about having multi-colored Ankara top is the option to choose any color of to wear. These shoes speak to me like butter to bread. For this outfit, classy four-inch red shoes complete it for me.

For you, the shoes could be yellow, pink, blue, black or the whole spectrum of the rainbow.

You could also wear these with some red converse. I wish I had worn that for you! A #fashionista who doesn't like wearing heels has that option. You're welcome here too 😉.

Look at the leaves or petals on the top. They are beautifully beaded and tiny sequins are so delicately arranged on the outer layer to look flowery. Its a spaghetti strap off-the shoulder top designed to look like a flower. The ends of the top are designed and shaped like sharp flowers.

My final look for today! The African Kimono.

This is my final good bye for now!! Send messages! subscribe!

If you're reading this and saying to yourself, "Is that really a kimono?" Yes.

Yes it is.

This is a bit more dressy. I wore this with a black tank top on the inside. You could wear longsleves, short sleeves, or a cropped spaghetti top. It all looks great.
